What does it cost?  How do I go from an idea to a final video product?

 

The actual cost, generated by the number of working hours and days it takes to produce a video presentation, is determined by consulting with you about the basic scope and nature of the final product you are looking for.  The following summary is the basic process needed to go from the initial idea to the final video product.  The more answers you can provide relating to this summary makes it easier for me to give a more accurate estimate of the cost.

 

    Creation of the idea -  What is the purpose and goal?

    Conceptual design - How do you want to get the idea across?  Who is the main audience?

    Writing a script - Do you have a script?  Need more creative input?  Refine what you have?

    Graphic design (logos etc) - Do you have or need a logo created?  Print ready or TV ready?

    Organization - Who is your "point person"?  They arrange scheduling of people and locations.

    Scouting locations - How many setup locations will be needed?  Is travel involved?

    Recording the video/audio on location (acquisition) - How many days do you think it will take?

    Editing (post-production) - I can make a more accurate estimate after I know details.

    Duplication - Do you need broadcast copies for TV stations?  Multiple VHS or DVD's?
