– DVD video chapter – The Garden Tomb

– Location –

The Garden Tomb, north of the Damascus Gate, is believed by many Christians to be the authentic site of the burial and resurrection of Jesus.  To many, the worship and communion service at the Garden Tomb is the highlight of their trip to the Holy Land.

·         Matthew 27:32-28:15; Mark 15:21-16:20; Luke 23:26-24:12; John 19:17-20:30 - The crucifixion, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. 

– Questions –

    Does the Garden Tomb take our minds and our Bibles back to another Garden?  A Garden in Eden where man sinned and was expelled and condemned?  (See Genesis) Is the Empty Tomb in Jerusalem the door back to Forgiveness and Reconciliation where all our sins are forgiven?  When Mary Magdalene came to the Empty Tomb on the first Easter morning she saw what was the gardener. When in fact it was Jesus.  (See John 20:10-17).  Did “the Gardener” in Eden go out into the world to take upon Himself our sins so that “The Gardener” of Easter morning could now make a way for all mankind to go, in time, back to a Celestial Eden.
