·         Acts 18:22 - Paul visits Caesarea after his second missionary journey.

·         Acts 10 - Peter presents the gospel to Cornelius, a Gentile, in the city of Caesarea.  This is the first time the gospel was extended to the Gentiles.

·         Acts 21:7-8 - Paul stays with Peter the Evangelist in Caesarea.

·         Acts 23-27 - Paul is imprisoned in Jerusalem and taken to Caesarea where he remained in prison for two years.  He appears before Felix and Festus and makes his famous defense before Agrippa before he is sent to Rome. 

– Questions –

1.     Since all the first Christians were Jews why were they resistant to Cornelius, a Gentile?

2.  Are we resistant to people different from us?  Are we prejudicial?  Was Jesus?
